This semester I’m team-teaching a class with 14 students at 10 public liberal arts schools across the country with the end goal being 10 projects on the experiences of those schools and their towns during WWI and the Spanish Flu outbreak from 1914 to 1919.  My co-teacher and I are dealing with issues of distance mentoring, differing student expectations, differing technology levels,  differing research environments.  The Century America Course site is here and the overarching site will be located here.  I’m looking forward to talking about the concerns and opportunities that this kind of virtual team-teaching and distance mentored digital projects.
